Fly a Kite by canvas print by Willem Haenraets

This is a lovely almost impressionist canvas print of a
young lady flying a red kite.  She has
put all her problems aside and just lets the kite float in the wind.

We all need days when we are carefree and just let the elements
surround us and flying a kite is a good way to be with nature for a while.

The kite rises in the sky, while being a little bit buffeted
in the wind, it climbs high and bright to that everyone for a couple of miles
around can see its beauty.

After the Storm by Louis Bosworth Hurt - Art print

After the storm is a landscape of hills and a valley in the Highlands of Scotland with cows just arisen after sheltering from the storm.  This is a nice Art print because it has meaning beyond the picture. 

There are still a few clouds in the sky that have not quite
dispersed yet and the ground is still wet but all the animals are ok.

The art print is picturesque and a lovely countryside print to
hang up in a quiet place.

The meaning beyond the picture is that we all have storms in
our lives that we have to shelter from for a while but just like in the picture
the clouds do clear eventually and the sky does brighten up.

St Mary's lighthouse, over rocky shoreline by Assaf Frank

This is a picture of a bright day, tide is low showing a rocky shore, just in the distance is the
white lighthouse. 

I love lighthouses because their flashing light warns and guides ships to safety.  We are all captain of our own ship and we all
need a lighthouse in our lives.

Lighthouses just remind
me that we are free to sail across the oceans and have adventures and stumbles
but at the end of the day we always come back to our lighthouse.
