Golden Towers in an English picture and I think you will be surprised by its beauty. It has the golds and blues and a certain hue that stretches across it.

Lowry the late French

Starry night is a beautiful picture with blues, whites and
golds. It puts you in a different mood and is wondrous.
There is a little bit of excitement looking at the picture
and all those stars. I start to feel a
bit sparkly and tingly.

This is a lovely almost impressionist canvas print of a
young lady flying a red kite. She has
put all her problems aside and just lets the kite float in the wind.
We all need days when we are carefree and just let the elements
surround us and flying a kite is a good way to be with nature for a while.
The kite rises in the sky, while being a little bit buffeted
in the wind, it climbs high and bright to that everyone for a couple of miles
around can see its beauty.

Degas painted the horse races and it was his favourite topic because he could study movement.
This scene is before the start of the race. The horses are just standing around, the jockeys are just preparing themselves, the crowds are just starting to gather.
There are five horses just waiting around. A sixth horse is in the distance and is darting across the field. It makes a great picture.
By studying the races and not getting carried away with the betting side, Degas learnt a lot about the circle of life.

This is a beautiful scene of a river with lily pads on it, there are trees over hanging the river and grass surrounding it.
The sunlight is glistening and there is a path leading around the river. Everything is green and growing well. It looks like a place that is well loved and well cared for.
Many artists have set up their easels to paint these great scenes.
It is just a lovely place to be and because of the beauty and freshness of the place. Lily pads have always been a favourite to paint and this is a good place to get some sketches.

Monet did several pictures of rivers. The water looks cool and still and he liked living by the river because it gave him a daily outing.
The scenery is beautiful and he has used a lot of blending strokes, with muted colours. He is famous for these kinds of scenes because they have been so popular.
It is a nice, pleasant scene in the impressionist style.
