Frank Auberbach the painter had an unusual life and turned to painting which stablised his life.
Extrodinarily he became great friends with Freud and they had many laughs and a very congenial friendship, in the end some of his legacy went over to Frank and the whole story is quite a tale.

Charming in pink is a beautiful lake with trees surrounding it. It is a nice mellow picture with pink hues across it.
There is the shadow of the moon and birds on the horizon. It is very pretty and quite a charming picture.

The Picasso Head picture is simple and simply beautiful. It is a drawing of a woman and just looks like a very good picture.
It would just fit into a drawing room and be at home there. It would definitely add to your room and I think this is one to take home with you.

The British
Museum has an exhibition of unusual Japanese art. These paintings were quite popular between
1600 – 1900 and are now being reintroduced to Britain in the form of an
exhibition.
It is
something very different and only open until the 5th of January 2014.

This is an Art Deco poster for the British Empire Exhibition
1925 and was made to send out a positive message about how Britain and its
friends can make their countries a very nice place to visit and live.
It was to encourage people to be friends with the British
and how they could help their partners to prosper. It was thought that if we all grouped
together we could have a better life for all.
This was the publicity for these great ideas and it is still
true today that we want a better life for our friends and neighbours.

John Lewis have come up with some great paintings this year
and this is one of them in their flowers collection. Medowlanlands print on canvas.
Many people swap their pictures around according to the

This is an amazing picture of two baby white tiger
cubs. They are fluffy and cute. You just want to take them home with you.
There was a man and his girlfriend in London who bought a
tiger from Harrods and kept it in his garden.
He trained and it was very friendly and tame. But after a year or so they started to feel
sorry for the tiger stuck in the house and garden.
The tiger was big now and needed more space, so the arranged for him to go in a wildlife park in Africa.
The tiger survived the journey out there and settled into
his new home with so much space around him.
They went out to see him once and he remembered them and it was
a tearful reunion.
